Issues with deploying 802.1x (Sunray clients)

2933553Apr 20 2015 — edited Apr 22 2015

Hello all!

First of all, I am very unexperienced what comes to Sunrays (working mainly with networks ) so sorry if there are some very basic questions...

I am trying to implement PoC with 802.1x authentication with Sunray clients. It should be possible??

First problem that I encounter was I am not able to download CA certificate and client side key file via Sunray clients GUI. I was able to download clients own certificate easily. Is it even possible to download 802.1x certificates via GUI --> download certificate? What format should I use? I have tried regular .pem file format.

I also tried to use remote configuration file download option, but no luck either. It just failed. What parameters are minimum requirements in remote configuration file??

Is there any log files I should check?

Has any of you gents done 802.1X testing?

Any help will be welcome!!

Thank you in advance,

JJ
