issue with Oracle apex QR Code Scanner plugin

I am trying to use the plug in provided for QR Code scanner.

I created apex region with plug in set as provided in the link above.
I created an apex item and set it in the set mode option for plugin settings.
When i run the app, it shows qr and in item i can see the link for the qr also. But i want it to be dynamic and when QR is scanned it would redirect to the website.
It shows something like this:

The link amazon.com is correct.
The demo for this plugin shows that its directed to website screenpresso but i am unable to do this.
If anyone has done similar demo/used dynamic actions to reset/restart scanner, please help with this.
