Issue with Multiple NICs and Oracle

First off let me tip my hat to the gurus out there!

I've got a dual processor Server 2003 box that has an onboard NIC. I've added a second NIC so my server can talk on my server backbone for backups etc. This 2nd NIC has a 10.10.x.x address.

This server uses the on-board NIC for everything else: going to the 'Net, handling iSQL+ queries, all the usual stuff.

When I put the second NIC in, Oracle stops working. Can one of my esteemed colleauges help me out with this?
