Issue starting reports builder in Forms&Reports 12c

Hi,

what might be a reason that report builder 12c does not start anymore? I can see the logo of report builder but noething happens. If I click on the logo it crashes completely. Version is 12.2.1.4.

The report tool instance is created and it started some time earlier. And there is no log that I could question.

Do I have to reinstal the whole suite?
