For a client there are some reports built in narrative reporting PROD, which is connected to ERP Fusion GL.
We cloned Narrative Reporting PROD into TEST so then we can reuse existing reports and build off the back of them.
The TEST environment is connected to a clone of ERP Fusion GL in a separate DEV1 instance.
We have admin access as developers to DEV1 and Narrative Reporting TEST and PROD.
When we create NEW reports in TEST from scratch, we are able to connect to the DEV1 connection with no issue.
The issue is when we open reports cloned from PROD into TEST, and change connection to DEV1 it gives a connection error. See screenshot attached of the error “unable to communicate with the data source General Ledger. Try again or select a different data source”:
