Is there Scratch Editor translator from MySQL to PL/SQL?

AGF-OracleMar 27 2009 — edited Sep 18 2009
Hi all,

I have a question regarding the Scratch Editor in SQL Developer.

In the current version of SQL Developer it appears that the following translations are possible using the Scratch Editor, as is also noted in the documentation:
- Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL to PL/SQL
- Sybase T-SQL to PL/SQL
- Microsoft Access SQL to PL/SQL

However, in the Scratch Editor demo viewlet (http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/migration/workbench/viewlets/scratchlauncher.html) there appears to be support to translate from MySQL to PL/SQL. When the user clicks on the translator selection list, there is a MySQL to PL/SQL option, rather than the Sybase T-SQL to PL/SQL option.

My questions is, why the discrepancy, and is there or will there be a translator from MySQL to PL/SQL?

Thanks,
Amedeo.
