Is there anything I can do to get classes loaded quickly at Startup

Hi,

I have developed a J2EE application that runs below acceptable performance (on the very first time it runs). However, every time after it's first run, it's runs really quickly.

I think the issue is getting classes loaded into memory.

Other than manually creating, the objects and doing a mock request (at application initialization time), is there any other way of making sure my application runs quickly the very first time around (btw it uses Servlets, JDBC and JAXB).

Thanks (and apologies if this is a thicko question)
