Is there an Upload Customers Spreadsheet Template for Party Type Person?

maureen o'Aug 2 2018

The Upload Customers Template for Fusion Rel13 for uploading Customers via Spreadsheet appears to only work to upload customers with a Party Type of Organization.  Is there another template available that will allow for spreadsheet upload of Customer Type Person?  I am aware of the Bulk Data import option but would prefer the simpler spreadsheet upload option.

My issue is that I need to create Customer Accounts that can share the same Account Site.  Oracle documentation says it is possible - Taken from R12 Implementing Receivables Credit to Cash -

When you create additional customer accounts for the customer, you can either enter new address information to create a new account site, or you can use an existing account site.

Bug 26189897 : OPTION TO SELECT EXISTING PARTY ADDRESS IN CUSTOMER UI states :

The Receivables Cloud Manage customer UI currently does not support linking an existing location to a new customer account site address definition. As an alternate, create the customer using the customer import FBDI template. The CustomerImport FBDI Template requires the Orig System Reference field of the Party site to be passed when creating the Customer Account Site, thereby linking the two. Additionally, the party site should have been 'imported' in CDM and not created via CDM UI so that the original system reference number is captured.

Below are the steps to achieve the alternate solution:

1.Download the CustomerImport FBDI Template from

a.http://docs.oracle.com/applications/farel12/financialsop_gs/OEFBF/FBDIOverview.htm#FBDIOverview (or)

b.Receivables > Billing > Upload customers from Spreadsheet > Download Customer Speadsheet Template

2.Follow the instructions in the CustomerImport FBDI Template to create the customer account. Please make sure to pass the Location System Reference field of the Party site when creating the Customer Account and the Site Purpose Source Reference field when creating the customer Site in order to use the existing party location.

3.The following note provides more details in this regard:

How to Import Customers into Fusion Applications ? (Doc ID 1624514.1)

The CustomerImport FBDI Template referenced here will only work for Organization Type Customers.  90% of my customers are Person Type.  Each person has one address but multiple accounts with the company due to different lines of business being billed using different customer profiles.

My thanks in advance for your time and attention.
