Is the SAX 2 Java parser avaiable for intenral use in 8i?

I would like to use the SAX 2 parser within an 8i instance. However, I wasn't sure if the XDK for JAVA that contains the SAX 2 parser could be installed into an Oracle 8i instance.

If so, what would I need to obtain and do to get this done? We are currently not using 9i at my company for production systems, so that is NOT a viable option at this time due to budget contraints.
