Is the PL/SQL gateway replacing MOD_PLSQL?

Hi,

I have downloaded a Power point from Open World and it looks like MOD_PLSQL is being replaced by the PL/SQL gateway like in XE, is this true? Does this have any effect on Workspace authentication?

Also there will be integration to XML Publisher which is fine, but does this mean that there will be no PDF rapports without XML Publisher? XML Publisher is expensive so I was hoping that ApEx finally would have PDF capabilities on its own.
