Is SOA server re-start required after a new data source is created in SOA .

Hi',

When we create a new data source and related JNDI and deploy it, the message which comes in weblogic server is
no restart required, however we are unable to do the polling for that datasource.
After restart of the server the polling starts.

Is server restart required after we create a new data source?

Please advice.
