I'm writing a solution design where I have 12.2 database instances on a Microsoft 2016 Server Cluster with 2 nodes.
To have HA I'm wondering if Oracle Fail Safe is mandatory together with Microsoft Failover Clustering or if it's just a nice to have.
My question is due to the fact that Oracle Fail Safe is not certified for Oracle 12.2 and Windows Server 2016.
The other question is when OFS will be available for V 12.2 and Windows Server 2016 ?
