Is NTFS-3G on OEL?

714223Jul 28 2009 — edited Jul 28 2009
I'm trying to use an external usb diskdrive on my OEL system. I get the error'Cannot mount volume. The volume .. uses the ntfs file system which is not supported by your system ".

Before I download the package from NTFS-3G I'd like to know if it's already available on OEL. If so, where is it?
I saw a post about someone finding a NTFS driver on Fedora. I don't want to have to do this if it's already available and I just don't know where it is. Any hints on how to find info like this would be appreciated so I don't have to muck up the forum.
From the NTFS-3G webpage - The NTFS-3G driver is used by over 240 distributions, Redhat is on the list...OEL is not. which is another question. Is OEL synonymous with RedHat? If one has a package does it mean the other will as well?
