Is JDBC for SYB/SQL built-in in Report and iAS?

Hi,

Is the following mechanism workable?
1. Report Writer connect to SYB/SQL through ODBC/JDBC and design report.
2. Deploy report to iAS.
3. Run report through web. And iAS connect to SYB/SQL to fetch data through ODBC/JDBC.

And, is ODBC/JDBC driver for SYB/SQL built-in in iAS?
