Is it safe to remove code from desktop_all.min.js

Hello,

I'm using apex 4.2.6.

I've opened desktop_min.all and I've noticed a lot of code that I'm pretty "sure" I have no use for in certain applications. This primarily affects the jQuery UI library ,

jquery.ui.core.js ,jquery.ui.position.js , jquery.effects.drop.js...

I have no idea what these things are and I wonder if I really need them. Ofcourse some things I still need and use like datepicker.

Did anyone try to remove these included libraries? I feel like they are unnecessary bloat if I have never used them but they are in every single application.
