Is it possible to use a relative path in the URI while creating a REST web service data control?

Hi ,

The REST web service and the client application from which I am trying to consume that web service are deployed in the same server. So Is it possible to create a web service data control with the relative URL? or modify the conenction.xml to get the host and port dynamically from the ADF ExternalContext Request so that it takes the host and port of the dev/test/prod server wherever it is deployed.
