Is it possible to configure ODBC driver for hadoop in OBIEE 11.1.1.6

Hi Experts,

I have OBIEE 11.1.1.6 configured in my Local machine, and I have a requirement to generate a report from OBIEE using HIVE table as a source. Can I take the ODBC driver Installation given for 11.1.1.7 and use with 11.1.1.6. Please let me know if any work around possible for this issue.
