Is it must to have 'max_thread_proc' in HP UX Itanium11.23?

Hi All,

We are in the process of installing SOA10.1.3.1.0 on HP-UX Itanium version11.23.

As per the requirements mentioned in the Oracle site, there should be a kernal parameter max_thread_proc and its value should be set to 2048.

But when we verified the HP Itanium server we didn't find that particular parameter at all.

As per the system admin the parameter was there in the older versions of HP and not there in 11.23.

Please help advice whether we can proceed with the installation without this parameter?
