is gc current block 3-way event possible in 2 node RAC ...

Hello all,

Had a question on a wait event in RAC. I understand the concept of gc current block 2-way and also gc cureent block 3-way event. But my question is, is it possible to have a gc current block 3-way event in a 2 node RAC cluster??? or it has to has a 3 instance for that wait....As from what i understand about gc current block 3-way is following...

1. instance 1 ask for a current block from instance 2
2. Instance 2 in turn which is the master instance forwards the reuquest to the holder and sends msg to other instance(instance 3) holding the shared locks..
3. Instance 3 sends current block thru cache fusion to instance 1....

so now to my " stupid " question, can a gc 3-way event be logged in a 2 node RAC cluster....if so how is it possible....and also what can be done if any of these 2 events(gc current block 2-way/gc current block 3-way) are in my top 5 wait events....
