Is anyone using Flashback Data Archive ( FDA ) as a replacement for Change Data Capture in 19C

Brian.BOct 16 2019 — edited Oct 17 2019

We are currently using Oracle 11.2.0.4 and Change Data Capture ( CDC ). We specifically want to be able to query what tables looked like over time and who changed what data. As everyone knows CDC has been desupported with 19C. Is someone using FDA and if so what issues have you had with the cutover and maintenance of the change data? I know that Golden Gate will also do this functionality, but we aren't using CDC for replication, so Golden Gate probably doesn't make sense as a solution given the cost of the licensing.

Thanks.
