Is Amazon RDS certified by Oracle for Oracle Database?

danrs2011Jul 2 2015 — edited Oct 2 2015

Hi guys,

I've googled everywhere but couldn't find the answer.

I don't care if Amazon RDS certifies this, I want to know if Oracle does.

Doc ID 2003294.1 says "Amazon RDS is a classical DB aaS, there is no OS access, no SYSDBA privileges and no sys access provided.".

Doc ID 1901155.1 says "Oracle Linux is certified to run on the portion of the Amazon EC2 cloud running Oracle VM. Oracle fully supports Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle’s PeopleSoft Enterprise, Oracle’s Siebel CRM, Oracle's JD Edwards and other Oracle Enterprise Applications, certified on Oracle VM, and Oracle Enterprise Manager, Oracle Fusion Middleware, Oracle Database, and Oracle Linux on the portion of Amazon EC2 which uses Oracle VM."

Thanks a lot.
