IPMonitor has been explicitly disabled

Version:Oracle Coherence EE 3.6.1.3
JRE:6u29
Platform: Solaris

On startup coherence logs shows up following warning.

*2012-05-09 15:23:49.633/11.163 Oracle Coherence EE 3.6.1.3 <Warning> (thread=main, member=n/a): IPMonitor has been explicitly disabled, this is not a recommended practice and will result in a minimum death detection time of 300 seconds for failed machines or networks.*

We have not disabled the tcp-ring-listener and runnning with the default setting. I am not able to find what's prompting coherence to log this warning.

Is there a way to confirm the tcp-ring is enabled? is there a mbean?

Thanks in advance.
