IP Address of Virtual Machine

Sajee-OracleOct 8 2015 — edited Nov 11 2015

Hi,

I am new to Oracle VM and using VM Server appliance available for VirtualBox.

I did all the basic things like discover->serverpool-> storage. Then I imported assembly OVM_OL6U7_x86_64_PVM.ova and then created template out of it. Next I created those templates to create my virtual machines in the serverpool.

All looks good but when i see my Virtual Machine's  it has only the Virtual NIC address with the default management Ethernet Network(192.168.56.0), the IP Address is blank. I have added Virtual Machine network channel role to this default management network also. How do I configure the eth0 and other network adapters's. I would assume the Virtual Server appliance am running on has all the rpm's installed for the PVM assembly I am using. I read somewhere that a required package must be installed for showing the IP address.

Could anyone suggest on how could i see the IP Address of the virtual machine.

Regards,

Sajeesh
