Io Exception: The Network Adapter could not establish the connection
532347Dec 12 2006 — edited Dec 17 2006Hi,
When I first try to log into EM dbconsole I get 'Io Exception: The Network Adapter could not establish the connection', but if I re-enter the password and try again, I get in. Also my nightly full disk backups, scheduled using dbconsole, are failing to initialize. I am having to rely on nightly exports.
I have checked and found the following errors in the logs:
emoms.trc

And when I checked the status of my listener I got the following:

The command completed successfully
We are using Suse Linux enterprise Server 9, and oracle database 10.1.0.5.
The 2 instances of BARN look a bit odd to me - especially the EXTPROC1521 one (could this be there cause I'm running HTMLDB also??)
I'm not sure if all these problems are related, but if anyone has any ideas on how I can solve them, I would really appreciate the help.
Thank you,
Una.
