Io exception: Connection reset by peer: socket write error

Hi -

I use SQL Developer 2.1.1.64 on window XP with 11g R1 client to connect 10g R1 and 10g R2 databases.

I noticed, if I leave sql-developer idle for 10 minute, it drops the connection with error."Io exception: Connection reset by peer: socket write error"

I also installed sql-developer on Linux (ubuntu) with same version of 11g R1 client and have same problem. I could not find any settings related to timeout.
Can anyone please give some hint to diagnose the problem. I tried to search on forum but did not have any luck.
