Io Exception: Connection reset

The error occurred when I try to make JDBC connection to a remote client database using VPN inside JDevelper 10.1.2. Both TOAD and SQL*PLUS have no problem making the connection.

Then why do I get the Connection reset error from inside JDevelper 10.1.2?

Any insight is appreciated.
