Invalid Applications GWYUID setting

515104Sep 9 2008 — edited Sep 9 2008
Hi All,

I'm using Discoverer version 10.1.2.54.25 and I am trying to connect to an Apps database using an Apps username & password which contains a custom developed EUL. However, when I try and do this I get the following error:

A connection error has occurred.- Unable to connect, possibly due to an invalid Applications GWYUID setting. Please contact your Discoverer manager.

Discoverer will connect fine to our Production Apps instance, but I can't get it to connect to our TEST instance.
Although I don't think they are are required, I have added the .dbc files to the Discoverer home but this makes no difference. These are not present for our PROD instance and that works fine.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what I need to do to get this working?

Regards,
Dave
