My organization has an intranet which is not connected to the internet at all. I am planning on creating a YUM server on our intranet to allow for our Oracle Linux servers to update. While I'm familiar with creating a local YUM repo (using specific libraries), is there a way to download the entire YUM repo from Oracle somehow? I assume this would be a periodic thing. I would need to refresh the entire YUM repo every quarter or so.
Why this is becoming a bigger issue is we have many different departments performing R&D, and/or separate business functions. Their requirements are very diverse, and there is no telling what they will be in the future, so downloading individual libraries is getting onerous.
