new freebie user here trying to outline a project without lightsailing!!! : successfully intialised instance , logged in and have several machines authorised , including the cloud shell ….
issue is that on doing something else (like reading the docs!) my ssh session will regularly hang, no response , wether using mac osx , debian linux or the cloud shell …. its been driving me mental - i reeboot in the instance via web cloud interface and off we go until next hang. Not good for progress! ‘top’ seems fine , my local network is solid , bah.
Reason for posting ; i was using google gemini to read some of the copious logs and was having a long ‘chat’ snipping bits out of a ‘dead’ terminal's "cat messages" when you guessed it ; the terminal session was back , and also back in a concurrent cloud shell … this was after approx 20 mins unresponsiveness. interestingly its been ‘up’ solid for 25 mins while this email becomes longer than i meant it to …soz!
please tell me what is likely up / do free tier get an intermittent service ?
