Interface Table Questions

I have a question... I added an "Employee" dimension that was originally built using a flat file source. I want to switch the source to Interface Tables, so I added "HS_Employee_XXXX" tables into the Interface schema. When I go to create the Load Profile, I can see the Employee interface dimension, but I can't load it against my pre-existing "Employee" dimension. I only have the option to "create new dimension". Can I add interface tables to load against a pre-existing dimension?

Also, when I select the "create new dimension" option, the job runs successfully, but nothing gets created.

Any thoughts?
