Interactive Report Dropdown List Pagination Scheme

Selvaraj JeyachandranApr 29 2014 — edited May 17 2014

I designed an interactive report which will display around 4000 customer records in a web page in my Apex  4.2.0.00.27 website. I am paginating per 100 records.

Unfortunately the default pagination styles available in interactive report doesn't have the dropdownlist option whereby the user can jump to say, page 40 straight away. {Pagination Scheme : Row Range X to Y of Z with pagination}.

I saw the below article by Jari Laine which seems to offer the solution to me, but i haven't tried it myself.

Before trying it, does anyone know of any in-built solution in Apex 4.2? The above article seems to be written a while ago (probably during 3.2 days) and i am expecting for such a simple feature to be already available in Apex 4.2. I am fairly new to Apex myself. I couldn't find anything else after searching for a while.
