Interactive Grids - auditing/tracking record views

Scott WesleyOct 18 2018 — edited Oct 31 2018

During the Asktom Office Hours session on Interactive Grids, I asked a question regarding auditing.

https://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=20051:4:::NO::P4_ASKTOM_OFFICE_HOUR_ID,IRC_ROWFILTER:158761792170509128502071936384…

I promised @"John Snyders-Oracle" I would clarify on the forums, so here it is.

Let's say we open the first page from the Traditional paging example in the sample IG app.

I've now 'seen' 11 records. 11 specific records that I would like to record this user has seen listed, even though they haven't opened them.

I do not want the next page of results to be audited until they click on the pagination to make them visible.

This description mimics the behaviour of a Forms application that was wrote in a sensitive environment.

I think we would track records via post-query.

How might one tackle this within APEX IG?

Asking for a friend ;p
