Interactive Grid - Aggregate row styling

Regarding the aggregate row on an interactive grid

How/can the color of the row be changed?
I see that the row label can be customized using the documented API here but how can the column width of the column containing the aggregate label be changed?
You can make the case that it is a waste of screen real estate to even have the column empty except for the aggregate row. How/can the column be hidden entirely?
