Integrating with Microsoft Project (MSP)

d_sengApr 27 2009 — edited Apr 27 2009
Hello everyone,

I am trying to build a simple inhouse project tracking and resource management application using Apex as a replacement of a proprietary third party application.

One of the key requirements is to integrate the inhouse tool with Microsoft Project (MSP). The project managers should be able to export the project tasks to MSP and then make modifications (including creating new tasks and assigning resources) and write back the MSP project to the Oracle database and my application/database should be able to reflect the changes the PMs made using MSP. Further, the list of resources that I've defined in the application/database should be available in MSP as MSP resources.

Does anybody have any experience regarding this requirement?

I'll be very thankful if you can point me to some resources.

Cheers,
Dhruva
