Integrating TFS with JDeveloper

sairamkApr 28 2016 — edited May 6 2016

I am looking into configuring JDeveloper with TFS. I installed Team System VCS extension from updates and restarted JDev. I got tf.exe not found error.

I understand that JDev is looking for this file and it is not available in path (there is no preference in JDev for this, so i assume that it looks under binaries under PATH system variable). I downloaded Team Explorer Everywhere from https://www.visualstudio.com/features/team-explorer-everywhere-and-eclipse-vs.aspx hoping to get that tf.exe. I did not find tf.exe. There is only some tf.cmd in those files.

I looked into few posts which had same requirement

Unfortunately, the disconnect is at tf.exe file. Anyone had success finding this file and configuring with JDev? I guess that a complete Visual Studio install may have the necessary files which JDeveloper expects. Looking for pointers on this.

JDeveloper 11.1.1.7 with BPM, SOA and WebCenter extensions installed. I also have Subversion and Team System extensions installed.

Regards,

Sai
