integrating AWS SES with Apex

Hi All

I have AWS RDS instnace version 12c [12.1.0.2.0] Standard version with Apex option group. Apex version is 5.1.2.00.09

In EC2 i have installed ORDS, TOMCAT

Now i have enabled AWS SES , now stck up with how to integrate this SES with my Apex database

I have changed AWS smtp server name in smptp_out_server parameter at database level and in Apex email settings i have provided the AWS SES SMTP server details but not able to send the emails.

Please let me know the stpes of integration/using the SES with APEX.
