Integrating APEX with Central Authentication Service (CAS)

There's a post about this already but it's over a year old so I figured I'd ask again. Does anyone out there have any experience integrating APEX with JA-SIG's CAS?

It looks pretty straightforward, but if anyone has already done it, it'd be a huge help to see the code.
