Instance not running after reboot.

Hi Gurus,

I was learning basic oracle DB installation recently and i experience some problem like DB instance, ISQL and EM were not running automatically after i reboot the OS. Before restarting all the mentioned services were running fine(after installation). I follewed the steps in the Installation Manual i found in this site but i cant find topic that mention this issue.

DB: Oracle 10G R2
OS: RHEL 4.0 WS(Virtual Machine)
Host OS: WinXP Pro

I assume that these services should be qeued to automatically run upon start up of the OS just like in Win OS's.
Thanks for your help in advance. Any help will be highly appreciated.
