Oracle Database Discussions

I've read through some similar post hoping that I can solve this on my own but so far... no joy.

Until recently the system has been responding correctly, reporting that all components are working correctly. I recently recreated a database user which was used by our Java app to access via OCI, ever since then OEM has reported that the Instance is down and the listner is unavailable. The restart proceeds normally, and only reports this anomoly after a period of time, I'm able to connect via Sqlplus and our Java application successfully.

The startup.log and listener.log displays normal behaviour indicating that the database is starting correctly.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
