I was excited to see that the APEX 23.2 upgrade allows the use of SSO (SAML) authentication for application builder users (developers) - this satisifes a local requirement for MFA for all session. So I turned it on for a test instance - worked great. Then I tried to get into the Instance Admin signon - my old way of doing that (going to the login page of the app developer) didn't work as that bounced me to our SAML (Shibboleth) page before I could scroll down and hit the Admin Login link. I eventually tracked down the official URL for the Administrative Login page - and it also bounced me to SAML.
Can I enable another username (beside “admin”) as an instance administrator? I don't want to put “admin” into my SSO world. I am willing to put “admin” into a “break glass before using category” (along with the Apex_Instance_Admin call to turn off SSO).
