Installing Oracle9i on Solaris

442092Jun 1 2005 — edited Jun 1 2005
Hi all,
I downloaded the Oracle9i Database Release 2 Enterprise/Standard Edition for Sun SPARC Solaris (32-bit) from the website and tried to install it on my SunOS kilimanjaro 5.9 Generic_112233-11 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Blade-100 by running 'sh runInstaller'.
Here's what I get:
./runInstaller: syntax error at line 1: `(' unexpected

Although I doubt that the script contains a error, I really don't know what to do. I tried to modify it but in vain ...

Any ideas?

Thanx,

--mike
