Installing oracle 10g(10.2.0.3) on vista

Hi,

I have downloaded the files :
(1) 10203_vista_w2k8_x86_production_db.zip (797,326,161 bytes) & (2) 10203_vista_w2k8_x86_production_client.zip (616,757,461 bytes)
from the link .. http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/database/oracle10g/htdocs/10203vista.html

My operating system is windows vista home basic and i am using JDK 1.6 update 12 and its installation folder has been specifically set in the environment variables as JAVA_HOME.

The downloads are in zipped format. So, I first unzipped it and then I clicked on the setup.exe file present at the top level (inside DISK1 and not the setup one inside the install folder). A command prompt opens and it writes no prerequisites required and after that a windows alert is coming stating windows can't proceed on with the installation.

(1) Can anyone throw some light on why I am getting the alert and why am I unable to proceed on with the installation and what should I do to carry out the installation.
