Installing glibc-2.2.4-25 in Linux RH 9

Hello, I need to install the glibc-2.2.4-25 package in Linux RH 9, I´m trying with:
rpm -Uvh force nodeps glibc-2.2.4-25.i386.rpm
but it damage a lot of shell commands and affect the behavior of my SO, Does anybody know the right way for install this package?
Which dependencies does it have?
