Wow did it ever take me a long time to upgrade the database and change the character set. It took so long, that now changes have been made that confuse me.
Here I am trying to install forms on the server (2016 server). I understand I have to install weblogic infrastructure. Sounds simple but going to the Fusion Middleware Software Downloads www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/fusion-middleware/downloads/index.html
I'm not finding it (12.2.1.3 with the word infrastructure in it). But I did happen to find out that the first option on the page titled Oracle Weblogic Server 12cR2 (12.2.1.3)
Quick installer for Developers has a way to change the choice from Quick Installer.... to "Fusion Middleware Infrastructure Installer (1.5 GB)".
So is that the one I want? (This is not for development per se this is to serve the forms as well as development. That's why the wording worries me. )
I also took a look at "licensed software link and there were like 10 pages of weblogic options. Yikes!
After I wrote that I found a different page www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/forms/downloads/index.html
Which has "Oracle WebLogic Server "FMW Infrastructure 12c" 12.2.1.3 For ALL Platforms which looks like the
same file as above. So I'm hoping that was the correct one.
