Installing client from 10g XE UI on disk.

I've tried to just install the client on my remote computer (laptop runningXP home spec OK) But it does not offfer any options you must install the whole package. I just wnat the client on the remote and not the full XE package. Any help would be greatly appreciated. As you will realised I'm a newbie to Oracle.
