Installing BDK

Hi , I downloaded BDK1.1 and while trying to install it, I got the following message: "Can't launch executable. Windows error 1157 occured while loading Java VM. Trying re-installing java VM or change the Java VM used by the application"

I have already installed java1.3.1 jdk and jre(along with plug in) Please help.
