Installing and Setting up Golden Gate Replication

Hi DBAs,

I want to learn the Golden Gate Repliction. Please guide me what Golden Gate Software I need to install in order to setup the replication between 2 schemas from different database. For learning purpose , the source and target database reside on same server on RHEL 5 (64 bit) using Oracle 11.1.0.6.

At Golden Gate Download link on OTN , I see different GG Software and don't know what is the function or purpose of these like Oracle GoldenGate Director and Oracle GoldenGate Veridata Media Pack.

As a starting point , please advise me the steps like what Golden Gate SW with versions need to be download and if you can suggest any note/doc to setup a very simple kind of replication that would be great.
