Although being very experienced with the Oracle ecosystem I'm quite new to using APEX. For one of our use cases APEX appears to be a good match.
For providing and maintaining environments we are obliged to a hosting partner. We already have databases in place for our development, test, acceptance and production environments for years. So, to my understanding, what basically needs to be done is: 1) Install and configure APEX in those (4) database instances. 2) Install and configure (4) (virtual) servers with Tomcat and ORDS to function as listeners. (Of course this may come with some additional network configurations, ect.)
I'm looking for an realistic estimate - based on experience - for the time required to achieve the above. As at the moment my own assessment and that of the provider seem to differ considerably. Any thoughts and considerations from experience?
