Installing 10g on Windows - Unable to add user to group (1387)

I'm trying to install Oracle 10g on my home computer for a class and after the installation, I am unable to log into the database. In the first place, I'm not sure what to use for User Name since it didn't ask for one during the install. Is it the user account I ran the installation under?

I checked the installation logs and found these errors:

Unable to add user to group (OS Error = 1387)
Cannot add user to application access ACL
Cannot add user to application launch ACL

There was also a warning because I use DHCP in my local network, but I'm betting that is unrelated.

I'm wondering if my windows user account name of Jeff W might have caused problems because of the space in it.
