Installer hangs during service installation

Hello,

when installing Oracle XE on some of our PC we encounter the problem, that the installation hangs when trying to install and start the services. It seems as if the installer waits for the service to start but doesn't catch this event. When manually restarting the services the installer continues. I've seen this in an earlier thread but there was no fix for it.

Does anybody no any details or workarounds?

Any help appreciated!
